The real essence of what to do well so you will get noticed is stated well here:

No matter how many lights, no matter how big, and no matter how blatant your message is. It simply won’t push through."
One way to accomplish this is to make a real effort to understand the problems people are having and offer your best solution. Pull the thorn out if the lions paw and he will be your friend and like you and trust you and maybe buy from you.
